Entertainment is a form of leisure activity, that gives pleasure and amusement. It includes performances of theatre, music and film, and activities like sports and games. People have been entertained for centuries, and while technology changes the delivery and access to entertainment, many forms remain recognisable. One example is the story of Scheherazade – told in the professional storytelling tradition and later retold by composers like Rimsky-Korsakov, Ravel and Szymanowski; director Pasolini and in innovative video games.
